The Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Settlement of Overdue Debts during the Period of Martial Law in Ukraine» sets out the procedure for interaction with consumers belonging to the protected category and their close relatives to settle overdue debts.
The protected categories are:
- servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations and special purpose law enforcement agencies established in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine who are performing military service on the territory of Ukraine;
- servicemen who became persons with disabilities as a result of a disease related to military service or as a result of a disease after their discharge from military service related to military service;
- family members of servicemen who were killed, died or went missing;
- persons held in captivity, persons with whom contact has been lost, persons who went missing.
